How do Central American dating customs differ from those in the U.S?

I am a 21 year old male of European decent, and I just started dating a 23 year old Colombian girl. She has been in the U.S for 1 month to learn english, and will only be staying for 1 or 2 years. Im wondering if I should move at the same pace with her that I would with an american girl, which I always thought was a little faster than other countries. I dont want to come on too fast or too slow and offend her, and her english isnt good enough for me to bring it up in conversation. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Anyway, most latin american dating custums are definitely a lot slower than the european and the north american custums. But you should try to communicate with her on this issue, because the world has become much smaller with the ease of travel and communication these days, and sexual mores have become much looser everywhere, it seems.
Personally, I don’t believe in dating someone with whom you can’t communicate this basic issue. But that’s just me.
