I’m getting ready to settle down. I barely go out anymore and outside of work, I basically stick around my house or once in awhile go out with some friends. Drunken one night stands have gotten old I must admit. I tried the internet dating thing a couple years ago and all I got were guys looking for **** buddies.
If internet dating is a good way to go about finding your better half, what is a good site to go to?

You have to try more serious sites such as Chemisty.com or Eharmony.com. You know, those websites you see on TV
Avoid Myspace, Fling, etc.
In my opinion, traveling the world by getting jobs here and there, especially if you’re very talented in a few skills, such as art that requires very little supplies, is a better way for you to find a quality person for you.
errr. just b careful, cuz u’ll never know. don’t believe what they say on the internet cuz ppl can just write anything there, u know.
I did it about 2 years ago, found some better sites than other. Some believe a site that cost more has better people! I found after being on over 6-7 pay sites I found my new husband on plentyoffish.com… I did not like eharmony, match.com was ok…. yahoo personals was pretty good… great expectations was the worse, but that was how I got such a good picture, it helped having a good picture online for dates. Not all are honest, so those who are have better chances. Do not be afraid to be the first to say hello… and a positive attitude is also good. It took me 9 months and countless one time date to find my husband… laugh at the bad dates, don’t let them get you down. Good luck. My favorite line I wrote in my profile was… a picture is worth 1000 words, someone honest and true… priceless.
no good be carefull
I know a lot of people who have met someone on Internet dating sites. I would try eHarmony.com or Match.com. I am a psychology major at my college, and we have actually had some discussions about these sites. They really review who is applying for the websites exhaustively.
Definitely go to a PAY site. Eharmony.com, etc..
If a guy pays to find a life-long partner, you know he is more serious than these guys who piss around on free sites just because they’re bored.
Good luck! =)
I think it is possible to find people this way. I joined on Yahoo Personals a while back, and found a nice girl that I went out with for a while. Plentyoffish has a lot of people too, it’s a pretty popular site.
If you do join any I’d recomend caution though.
